01 / FULL SERVICE

Our most comprehensive offering, full service design includes every detail—big and small—that makes up your home project. From space planning and construction drawings to lighting selection and final styling, we have the skill and expertise to curate a space that balances style, function, and customization. For clients outside the region, we offer distance design—the same personal experience in a virtual format with periodic in-person visits.

02 / RENOVATION + REMODEL

We work closely with subcontractors and trades on extensive renovations and remodels. We have the expertise to step in at any point in the process to ensure that the end result is cohesive, comfortable, and high-quality. We specialize in kitchen and bathroom remodels, bespoke built-in designs, hard finish selections, and custom floor plans.

03 / NEW HOME BUILD

Any well-designed home is the sum of countless thoughtful details. A new build, however, requires even more intentionality and creativity. We partner with architects and builders throughout the construction process to provide finish selections and floor plan adjustments as needed. Once construction is finished, we are able to curate a collection of fixtures and furnishings that complement your new space as well as your lifestyle.

THE PROCESS

PLANNING

The most distinctive homes are a timeless reflection of the lives lived inside. With that in mind, we begin every project by forming a personal connection with our clients and utilizing what we learn as we explore aesthetics and innovative design concepts together.

CONSTRUCTION

We work closely with contractors, builders, and architects as our shared vision comes to life. Our team makes frequent site visits to track progress as we source the furnishings that will add warmth and interest to the completed space. 

INSTALL

Once the construction dust settles, our team comes in to put the finishing touches on the project—including window treatments, artwork, textiles, and furniture. We style each element for your unique daily routine then welcome you home to your elevated yet livable space.

  • CAN I WORK WITH SHO AND CO. IF I'M OUTSIDE MARYLAND?
    The short answer is yes! We do take on full service design projects outside Maryland on a limited basis. We offer the same design experience to these clients in a virtual format, while aiming to visit in-person periodically. If you think our services would be a good fit your project, please reach out and we can discuss options.
  • HOW DO I GET STARTED?
    The first step is filling out the inquiry form on our Contact page. This will help us learn more about you and your home before we reach out. A team member will be in touch within a few days with next steps.
  • DO YOU OFFER CONSTRUCTION SERVICES?
    For construction projects, we offer project management as well as finish selection and floor plan adjustments. We are happy to collaborate with the architect, contractor, and trades of your choice.
  • WHAT ARE YOUR PROJECT MINIMUMS?
    At this time, we are only accepting home projects with a minimum budget of $100k. We have found that smaller projects are not conducive to our holistic approach to curating distinctive and timeless spaces.
